TMA MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Commuting to work can be a challenge. The Chicago area continually ranks as one of the most congested areas in the United States. Traffic congestion impacts employees’ air quality, well-being, and quality of life.
Founded in 1989, the Transportation Management Association (TMA) of Lake Cook is your advocate to improve your employees’ commutes and provide information on commuting alternatives. We understand the concepts of Transportation Demand Management (TDM), and work to increase awareness of commuting options for your employees. Through our outreach and education efforts, we make members aware of the following programs, including:
- Three annual meetings, including the Annual Construction Meeting and map, which details construction projects impacting employees’ commutes in Lake County and Northern Cook County.
- Quarterly newsletters covering topics impacting your commute to work.
- Your go to source on developing commuting programs at your work site.
TMA members include major employers in the Lake Cook area, Transportation Agencies, Area Municipalities, Real Estate Organizations, and Other Employers interested in improving their employees’ commutes to work. Our membership dues have not increased since 1999!
